Okay, so we’re officially on countdown now! It’s a little over 2 weeks until launch and I’m counting down the days (minutes and hours) until the exciting MAGORA and DOTTY Double-Launch. And I have to tell you I absolutely can’t wait until DOTTY and the Chimney Thief goes live.

I’ve a couple of exciting things to mention today:

Firstly, the official launch on 22nd November is going to be followed by a LIVE LAUNCH EVENT!

This will take the form of a book signing at the Ripon Xmas Gift Fair, which will be held at Ripon Cathedral on Saturday 26th November 2016. I’ve attached a flyer, so please do post it and tell all your friends. It’s a super event – very popular and well attended - and I feel really privileged to have been offered a place there this year.

I will be at the Old Deanery on the day, just opposite the Cathedral (there will be signs!), and available to sign copies of my books between 10am and 4pm.

I’ve also had some special edition paperback copies of DOTTY and the Very Lucky Day printed, which will be exclusive to the event, together with some really fun merchandising.

And I will even have some signed copies of the first two MAGORA series books on offer, flown all the way over from Germany especially for the occasion, so you’ll need to get in quickly if you want one (and thank you so much to Marc for providing these – what a treat for us!).

Secondly, I’m going to be sending out advance reader copies of the book this week. So if you want to get a free e-copy of the book prior to the launch (and in exchange you are happy to post an honest review of it on Amazon), please just ping me a quick email and I’ll add you to the list. Places are limited and at last count there were 3 left, so do get in touch if you’re interested.

Thirdly, I have a teensy teaser for you: the new book introduces not one, not two, but three new baddies into the mix (eat your hearts out, Porguss and Poachling!), plus a couple of other interesting and unsavoury characters. Watch out for these in future series books – a couple of them are here to stay! (can you guess which ones?).

And last but not least, please bear with the regular emails for now – I promise they will calm down considerably after the book releases (not least because I will be knuckling down to finish the next instalment in the series, DOTTY and the Dream Catchers). I’m sure you will appreciate my slight over-wrought-ness at the moment, given the impending launch!

I’ll be in touch in a week’s time with some more exciting launch news. In the meantime, please feel free to get in touch by clicking reply to this email. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Emma Warner-Reed
